Step 3: How To Organize Coupons

So now that you have all of your coupons how are you going to organize them? There are a few different ways to go about this.  I will share with you step by step what I do.

The Clip As You Go Method (This is what I do)

1. Lay out all of your inserts by group (smartsource, redplum and P&G)

2.  Take 1 insert let's go with Smartsource.  Open each one to the first page and lay out on the counter.

3.  Take the same page from each insert and put them together

4. Staple the pages together, making sure not to staple into the coupon.

5.  Reassemble your insert.

6.  Lastly, date the insert and file it in a file box.  (When the same month comes around next year I throw away the old coupons).

The Binder Method

follow steps 1-4

   5. Cut coupon

 6.  File each coupon according to categories into a 3 ring binder.  Use baseball card sleeves to hold your coupons.
