Should You or Should You Not Get The Flu Shot?

Let me first say that my comments are my own and have in no shape, way, or form influence you in your own decision to receive the flu shot.

 

OK, So I decided to get the flu shot yesterday as it was going to be free.  Hey you know me I can't pass up FREE!  Well I had much of a debate for myself on this issue.

Last year I did not get the flu shot and I did not get the flu.  Two, years ago I got the flu shot in October and in February I was sick...sick...sick.  Ended up in the ER dehydrated, Fever, Chills, (I will spare you the rest of the details). 

Now I have never been sick after receiving a flu shot and what happened this year!  Yup, you guessed it sick.  I woke up this morning not feeling all that grand.  Had some coffee, daughter of to school, hubby brought home breakfast from Dunkin Donuts.  As I am eating yup....you guessed got sick.  I am running a fever, feel like garbage, and (I will spare you the additional details).

So do you get a flu shot or not?   What are your thoughts?
