OK here comes my RANT!
I have been purchasing the D&C paper for years! In the past 2 months I have not been getting the coupon inserts that I should have.
This is what I received this week (1) SmartSource THAT WAS IT! It clearly shows $172 in coupons. This paper is expensive $2.00 per paper but I like to purchase (1) local paper Finger Lake Times and (1) paper from the largest city near by D&C as the inserts can be regional.

I am just getting to looking at the paper this week a very late start for me! So what in the world is going on.
Well I called the D&C and spoke to a very nice lady who advised me that customers who purchase the newspaper subscription are the first ones to receive ALL of the inserts, then the Rochester area, and lastly the out lying areas.
Seeing as I am in Penn Yan about 60 miles from Rochester we are last on the list!

The lady at the D&C was very nice and told me this is a fairly new change as they don't have enough inserts to fill all of the papers. She is going to mail me the missing inserts (but won't be able to do that every week).
What that means to me well, I WON'T BE PURCHASING this paper any longer. I am going to look at the Daily Messenger (Canandaigua paper) and I am not sure what the paper is for Syracuse but I will be investigating the differences in both papers for the coupons and see what has the better coupons.
Lesson, always check your inserts before you buy them or you may be just as surprised as I am on Tuesday.
So...what papers do you purchase. Any suggestions?
