Tuesday Teaching Class - Are You Brand Loyal?

Today's Teaching Class - Are You Brand Loyal?

Do you have a brand item that you are unwilling to try something new?

Well if you want to maximize your savings you some times need to change brand. NOW I KNOW some of you are saying NO WAY!  I use to say the same thing until I realized how much money I could save.

I was one of those people who religiously paid my $12.59 on my Tide Free & Gentle HE Detergent monthly.  I told myself that my skin was sensitive and anything with a perfume smell a dye would make me break out in a rash.  I am sure something happened along the way in my life that I had that crazy notion, but for the life of me I can't remember!  LOL.  When I decided to get serious about saving money I knew that my beloved Tide was not the best choice for me.

Last summer there was a great deal on Purex laundry detergent.  Where I would only pay .50¢ a bottle!  Kinda seemed silly to me not to at least try it.  Well, I did and guess what?  No rash!
To my surprise I really like Purex!  Does just as good of a job washing my clothes as the $12.59 bottle of Tide IMO.

So, I thought let's try it on deodorant.  I have always used Secret or Degree.  There was an incredible deal at Rite Aid on Dove deodorant that you not only got the item for free with coupon but you received a $2 UP reward.  Well of course I was going to try it,  after all it was FREE and I made $2 on every (2) I purchased.  This product I did not like at all.  So I donated them.

Moral of the story is like the CAT IN THE HAT with Green Eggs & HamTry it...TRY IT, couponer you areYOU MAY like it.  If you don't like it nothing lost but a few bucks or pocket change.  If you do like it well you saved yourself some money!

If you have a topic of interest or struggling with an area of saving send me an email and I will make it a Tuesday Teaching Class!
