Changing My Ways In 2012


Blah...Blah..Blah, Do you feel each year that rolls around and you make the same New Year's Resolutions and after 7 days you have given up?

Yup, that is me!  This year I really want to make some changes in my life.  Some for Health, some for Family, and some for saving money!

But why don't I stick to them?

Well I remember taking a business course back when I was working Full Time about making your goals Measurable.  So why not use that ideal for my resolutions/goals.  So here are a few suggestions to help you stick to your goals/Resolutions.

  1. Select a goal that's important to you.
  2. You should make this goal specific. - Loose weight (what does that really mean to you)?  Think more specific, I will loose 5 lbs a month.
  3. Make your goal/resolution measurable.  How will you measure your results.  I will weigh myself Every Monday.
  4. Make mini goals - I will cut out pop,  I will drink (5) glasses of water a day, I will eat a fruit or vegetable a day.
  5. Place your goals/resolutions in a place you will see it everyday.
