Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 or to the directions for your french fries if using.

Step 2
In a Large take 8 slices of steak meat (2 per slice) breaking them up when putting in pan.  Add pepper for seasoning. Once cooked drain meat in a strainer as there is a lot of fat. Then set aside.

Step 3
In a medium pan add a tablespoon of butter, onions, and salt.  Saute on medium to caramelize onions.  Once they start to turn brown turn on low.

Step 4
Grate about 1/2 cup of Fontina cheese.

Step 5
When you french fries are almost done, assemble your sandwich right on your cooking sheet.
*Lay your meat on your sandwich roll
*Then your onions
*Last your grated cheese
Place in over cook for 5 minutes.  Then turn on the broiler to toast bread and brown your cheese takes maybe 1 minute.

Step 6
Add any sandwich fixings you would like.  I like a little bit of mayo and ketchup.

Enjoy!
