What's For Supper/ "Ultimate Chicken Fingers"

This Recipe was inspired by Betty Crocker, I add my own little twist to it.

This is another family favorite recipe.  It is quick, easy and it is real chicken!!
When figuring the cost of a meal I don't include seasonings or the incidentals.

Preheat Oven 450
Prep Time 10 min
Total Time 30 min
Servings 4

















Ingredients
3 Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breast
Wegmans Boneless/Skinless Chicken $1.99# for Club Pack
= $4.32 for (3)

1 egg, slightly beaten
Wegmans Large dozen eggs $1.59
= .13¢ for (1) egg

2/3 cup Original Bisquick mix
Purchased @ Wegmans $3.29 for a box
= maybe .50¢ for what I used

1 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
Wegmans Price $1.99
= FREE - I used a coupon, no longer available

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt or garlic salt (not shown in picture)
1/2 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

Sides
Apple sauce
  $1.49 Wegmans Applesauce 23 oz
  Cost .75¢ half the jar

Can Corn (not shown in picture)
= .25¢ what I paid at Tops when on sale and with coupon


French Fries
Wegmans Straight Cut Fries $1.99
= .50¢ for 1/4 of the bag


Step 1
Heat oven to 450ºF. Line cookie sheet with foil; spray with cooking spray.

Step 2
Slice chicken crosswise into 1 inch strips












Step 3
Have three separate bowls.  
In bowl one have your egg.  Bowl 2 Mix Bisquick mix, cheese, salt and paprika. Bowl 3 have your Panko crumbs.  Dip the chicken strips into Bisquick bowl, then egg, lastly Panko.  Place chicken on cookie sheet.  Drizzle butter over chicken.












Step 4
Bake 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes with pancake turner, until no longer pink in center.
