How To Shop At CVS

CVS tends to be one of the easiest drug stores to shop at out of the big 3 (Rite Aid, Walgreen, and CVS). 
CVS is similar to Rite Aid in that they have a reward program.  CVS's reward program is called Extra Care Bucks (ECB).  You can sign up for an Extra Care Card at the register or here.


Once you have your card you should register it online,  click on this link.  By creating an account it lets you:

• View your prescription records and purchase new prescription medications with the click of a button.
• Shop online
• View and access your Extra Care rewards and Extra Bucks when you attach your Extra Care card. 

So What are Extra Care Rewards/Bucks?

ExtraCare Rewards

• Rewards are called Extra Bucks that you can earn at any CVS/pharmacy store or online when you use your ExtraCare card.
• You can use your earned ExtraCare Bucks on your 1st order to pay for the purchase of the same products on 2nd order and earn more ExtraCare Bucks.  This is called "rolling" your orders. 

How Do You Earn Extra Bucks Rewards?

• Earn 2% back with every purchase in-store and online at CVS/pharmacy (some restriction on items)
• Earn 2 Extra Buck for every 2 prescriptions purchased in-store and online (excludes NY & NJ)

How Do You Get Extra Bucks Rewards?

• Every 3 months your Extra Bucks will print on your register receipt, or visit online to print your Extra Bucks.  (your card must be linked to an online account in order to check and print online)
• Spend your Extra Bucks at any CVS location or online the next time you shop.

What other ways can I save when I shop in-store with my ExtraCare card?

• Get instant savings on items featured in the weekly store circular ads

• Earn even more Extra Bucks on select brands advertised in weekly ads.  Your Extra Bucks will print on your receipt immediately following your qualifying purchase(s).

• Scan your ExtraCare card at the in-store Kiosk.  The machine will print out coupons for you.

• Additional special offers print on your store receipt frequently throughout the year.
