Today's Lesson Confused Cashiers

• You know them...the ones that tell you that the coupon your using is wrong!
• You know more about the stores coupon policy than the cashier! 
• That you can't use a manufacture coupon and a store coupon together.
• I love this one the coupon reads "(1) coupon per purchase - thinking that a purchase is a transaction.
• You can't use that coupon it states redeemable at Walgreens even though it starts with a 5 and it is a manufacture coupon so it can be redeemed anywhere!

 So What Are You Suppose To Do?

1.  Well first of all you would be surprised how little training a cashiers receives on the stores coupon policy or even how to read a coupon.

2.  So your best weapon is ALWAYS have your coupon policy with you.  Most stores have a link on their website to print.  You can follow my link to see the stores in this area.

3.  Don't flip out and start hollering (though you maybe tempted or justified) IT WILL SOLVE NOTHING!  Instead ask to speak to the manager.  If you still feel you are in the right call the stores corporate office.  At the end of the day it is just an item.

4.  Pick a lane that has a male cashier!!!!  I don't know what it is but the male cashiers are so much nicer.  They don't get out the magnifying glass to examine your coupons.  Paw through your bags to find the item.  If the coupon beeps they will simply put it through.
